Yes, a climate-controlled garage can be suitable when its measured year-round temperature and humidity stay within the refrigerator’s published limits. The appliance still needs its required ventilation, a level indoor-rated location, a correct grounded outlet and protection from direct sunlight, water and vehicle impact.

“Climate controlled” should describe measured conditions, not simply an insulated door. Use a thermometer that records daily high and low temperatures through the hottest and coldest periods. Compare those readings with the exact manual before moving a wine collection into the space.
