About this publication
Editorial Policy
Standards for wine refrigerator sourcing, product rankings, corrections, affiliate independence and updates.
What evidence standards do we follow?
Purchase-changing facts should be traceable to an identifiable product manual, manufacturer page, current retailer listing or clearly attributed technical source. When reliable sources disagree, the conflict remains visible until the exact model or specification can be resolved.
How are products ranked?
Rankings weigh cooling technology, usable temperature range, installation approval, ventilation, shelf design, realistic bottle fit, warranty and ownership limitations. A product can earn an award while still displaying the drawbacks that matter for a particular room or collection.
How are corrections handled?
Product corrections are made in the centralized record so every dependent review, comparison and structured-data reference stays aligned. Material updates receive a new visible modified date, while unresolved conflicts remain labeled instead of disappearing from one page and surviving on another.
Does affiliate revenue influence rankings?
No. Retailer destinations are maintained separately from product facts and ranking logic. A commission opportunity cannot change cooling type, installation approval, bottle capacity, warranty or an editorial verdict, and an unavailable retailer link does not erase a useful product from the comparison.
How do we keep recommendations accountable?
Important conclusions are explained alongside the specifications that support them. Product pages link to source material where available, methodology is public, and readers can report model changes or disputed information for review.
